How We Got Started

We’re confident enough in what we do that we’re willing to put our name on our business. Borem Fire Protection was founded in 2017 by Josh Borem and his brother, after both had led successful careers with another fire protection company. After having worked for a large national company, Josh realized that what his Florida community needed was a local firm that would provide local businesses with the kind of service they required and deserved.

Over the last few years, Josh has grown Borem Fire Protection to a flourishing business with 12 employees that serves communities across most of Florida; from Naples to Gainesville, Clearwater to Daytona, and Sebring to Ocala. Borem’s growth is largely because the company does exactly what Josh had planned from the beginning; by offering local businesses the national company services they need at local, small business prices.

In addition, did you know that in 2018, according to the National Fire Protection Association, fires caused an estimated $25.6 billion in property loss and cost 3,655 civilian lives? We’re also here to make a difference.

Our mission is to provide superior fire protection guidance and service at a fair price, while focusing on our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve. Unlike many fire protection companies, we put our small business customers first — always — and understand their needs better than most since we’re a small business, too.

The Borem Fire Protection team has over 50 collective years of experience in the industry, and we’re growing that number every day. Honest work and great customer relationships are our top priority. With the experience we have, we can offer “big business” service to our local customers without charging big business prices.
